AB 877 – Health care coverage: substance use disorder: residential facilities

AB 877 would require that the Department of Health Care Services, the Department of Managed Health Care, the Department of Insurance and the Department of Public Health notify all Chief Financial Officers of health insurance providers in the State of California that licensed substance use disorder (SUD) treatment in residential settings in California is strictly nonmedical.
